BBQ Turkey Meatballs Recipe

BBQ Turkey Meatballs
These BBQ turkey meatballs are a healthier alternative to using ground beef. Preparing this recipe is very easy—the ingredients for the meatballs are mixed in a bowl and then rolled into small balls. Then they are placed into the oven and baked until they are fully cooked. A bbq sauce is prepared for a glaze. The bbq sauce combines a pre-made bbq sauce with ingredients such as ketchup and mustard. These meatballs go great served for dinner or as an appetizer. Enjoy.

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic (minced)

  • 1 cup ketchup

  2. In a small bowl combine ketchup, bbq sauce, mustard, Worcestershire sauce and sugar. Place the meatballs and sauce into a saucepan over medium-low heat. Mix well and keep warm until ready to serve.

Hi Bobby! I’m surprised that the meat mixture doesn’t contain an egg – in order to hold everything together. I’ve made turkey meatballs, and also turkey meatloaf in the past, and I’ve always added 1 egg to every 1 lb. of ground turkey. So, what’s the scoop?
