To make it even easier I buy sliced beef at the deli counter then just cut it into strips- I also add a couple of dashes of Lea & Perrins and a good shot of ketchup - lol and its so true - a GREAT comfort food that the whole family likes! To give it an even more "home made" feel instead of canned mushrooms I use the presliced fresh mushrooms from the produce section they cook just as fast and looks like you did alot more work!
