Followed recipe to the T. Shrimp did not stay breaded through deep frying. (made my own bread crumbs) thinking that may have been the problem. Flavor was awesome. Overall it was good, more grilled looking than fried. Without this recipe, I wouldn't have gotten the flavoring I did. I'll try it different next time. I also added a little cajun seasoning. Tasted great!! Thanks.

Not too impressed, though I think it was my fault. I used Matzoh meal in place of breadcrumbs and the resulting shell was way too hard. Also, only half of the water-cornstarch recipe is necessary, and the crumbs needed some salt (then again, perhaps that's due to the Matzoh meal).

They were lovely, though...

Very Good!!!! Why do you need all the water and cornstarch mixture for just 1 lb. of shrimp? Next time, I will cut that amount in half. Thanks for sharing.
