I suddenly have the urge to bake some brownies today when I stumble upon your blog. I tried your recipe and it turn out good. Love that its moist. I added more cocoa and chocolate to make it more chocolatey and I cut down the sugar and it turn out great!. Thanks for sharing. ^___^

Alright, they came out. Well, they're nice. I guess that the best brownies should have chocolate in them.. The advantage of this recipie is that these brownies will never come out dry no matter what, they are very moist. So next time I'm gonna try using half chocolate half cocoa powder.

Hi. I love the chicken recipies you post, they are wonderful, and hopefully your brownies are too. I am trying them now, waiting to for the light in the oven to go off.. Well, that amout of sugar is crazy, but I put an amount close to it. The brownie batter tasted horrible! So I added some brandy and it did marvelous to the batter's taste. I'll post again the results...

I have searched and searched for a brownie recipe that doesn't call for chocolate baking squares, uses and cocoa powder instead. Thanks for sharing!

wendy - Hi! Sorry, you did use the correct contact forum, it might have made its way into my junk mail box, that happens sometimes. Next time I get a good deal on shrimp (its really expensive right now) I will try and post a recipe for salt and pepper shrimp. Thanks.

Yum Yum Yum
Yummie!
Wow these look great! The shortening must give them that nice chewy dense delicious taste.
Bobby I had a question, I had left you a question in the contact us area but maybe I did something wrong and it didnt get sent right, sorry if Im asking it in the wrong are now, but I was wondering if you new of a recipe for Salt & Pepper Shrimp that they serve at the Chinese Buffets? I love them! I know they leave the shells & tail on, I just cant figure out besides salt and pepper what kind of seasonings they use & also if its butter or oil.
Thanks again for any information.
