If you are a fan of the burrito supreme at Taco Bell you are sure to enjoy this copycat recipe. These burritos are loaded with refried beans, taco meat, shredded cheese, enchilada sauce, lettuce, tomato, onion and sour cream. This recipe is not very difficult to prepare—the only work that is involved is cooking the beef and doing a little prep work. These burritos have great flavor and you can use whatever type of enchilada sauce is your favorite. I like to prepare these burritos when I am looking for something quick and easy to have for dinner. Enjoy.

Ingredients:
1lb lean ground beef
¼ cup all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon dried minced onion
½ teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon onion powder
1 dash garlic powder
½ cup water
1 (16 ounce) can refried beans
8 (10 inch) flour tortillas
½ cup enchilada sauce
¾ cup sour cream
2 cups shredded lettuce
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 medium tomato (diced)
½ cup diced yellow onion

Cooking Instructions:
Step 1: In a medium bowl combine the ground beef with flour, chili powder, salt, minced onion, paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder. Use your hands to thoroughly mix the flour and seasonings into the ground beef. Add the seasoned beef mixture and the water to a large skillet over medium heat. Mix well and use a spatula to break up the beef as it cooks. Cook until the beef is fully cooked (the beef mixture should be thick and very smooth with no large chunks of beef remaining).
Step 2: Heat up the refried beans in a microwave safe container for 1 ½ to 2 minutes. Place the flour tortillas on a microwave safe plate and heat for 30 to 45 seconds.
Step 3: Prepare each burrito by first spreading about ¼ cup of the reified beans onto the center of each heated tortilla. Spread a portion of the meat mixture over the beans, pour on about a tablespoon of enchilada sauce over the meat. Spread about 1 ½ tablespoons of sour cream onto each burrito. Arrange some of the lettuce, cheese, tomato and onion onto the burritos. Roll up the burritos by folding the end of the tortilla closest to you over the filling. Then fold either the left or right end over next. Then fold the top edge over the filling.
(Makes 8 Servings)

I can’t say I ever get tired of eating macaroni and cheese; there are so many different types of cheeses that create different flavors. This pancetta mac and cheese uses several different types of cheese including goat cheese, white cheddar, yellow cheddar, brie, and provolone. If you can’t tell this recipe can get a little expensive but it really tastes amazing. I found the flavors of the cheeses to come together very nicely and it turned out to be one of the best macaroni and cheese recipes I have tried yet. This makes a perfect side-dish or it can be served as a dinner. Enjoy. Adapted from The Stay at Home Chef.
These pork burritos are loaded with amazing flavor. Whenever I am looking to prepare easy meat for burritos, I always look for slow cooker recipes. This recipe uses the slow cooker and there is not much work involved. A few ingredients are mixed in the blender and then placed into the slow cooker with the pork roast and cooked on low for 8-10 hours. I found the flavor of the meat mixture to be very good and it was a little spicy, but I did not find the heat to be too extreme. If you do not want to make burritos this recipe could be used to make meat for tacos, enchiladas, quesadillas, etc. I made these into wet burritos with a little of the juice from the slow cooker and melted cheese on top. Enjoy.

Ingredients:
1 boneless pork shoulder butt roast (3 to 4 pounds)
1 (14 ½ ounce) can diced tomatoes with mild green chilies (undrained)
¼ cup chili powder
3 tablespoon minced garlic
2 tablespoons lime juice
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon chopped seeded jalapeno pepper
1 teaspoon salt
10 (8 inch) flour tortillas (warmed)
1 (8 ounce) bag shredded Monterey jack cheese
1 (16 ounce) can black beans (drained and rinsed)
Sour Cream

Cooking Instructions:
Step 1: Cut the pork roast in half and place the halves into the bottom of the slow cooker. In a blender, combine the tomatoes, chili powder, garlic, lime juice, honey, jalapeno and salt. Cover and process until smooth. Pour over pork. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until the meat is tender.
Step 2: Remove the roast from the slow cooker, cool slightly. Shred the pork using two forks and return to the slow cooker. Using a slotted spoon, place about ½ cup of the pork mixture down the center of each tortilla, top with some black beans, shredded cheese, and sour cream. Fold sides and ends over the filling and roll up.
(Makes 10 Servings)

Sweet chili chicken strips make a delicious appetizer or are great served for dinner. These chicken strips use Chinese flavors such as sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, and rice wine vinegar. These chicken strips have both sweet and spicy flavor. The process to preparing this recipe is simple- the chicken strips are coated in a flour mixture and then deep fried and tossed with the sweet and spicy sauce. What works well for this recipe is using a package of not breaded, uncooked chicken tenders—that way you do not have to even slice the chicken yourself. These chicken strips go great served with rice, and you may want to double the sauce to have some for the rice. Adapted from Chocolate Moosey.

Ingredients:
Sauce-
¼ cup chicken broth
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon cornstarch
Chicken Strips-
vegetable oil (for frying)
1 boneless skinless chicken breast (sliced into strips)
1/3 cup butter milk
½ cup flour
¼ cup cornstarch
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
chopped green onions
sesame seeds

Cooking Instructions:

Step 1: To prepare the sauce—in a medium saucepan combine the chicken broth, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sweet chili sauce, oil, sugar, and cornstarch. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until the sauce is slightly thickened. Remove from the heat and set aside.
Step 2: Heat oil in a deep fryer to 375 degrees. Pour buttermilk into a shallow bowl. In another shallow bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, salt and pepper. Dip each chicken strip first into the buttermilk and then roll in the flour mixture until evenly coated.
Step 3: Place chicken strips into the hot oil, a few at a time and deep fry the chicken strips in batches until golden brown and the chicken is fully cooked (the internal temperature has reached 165 degrees). Remove from the oil with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Immediately toss the chicken strips with the sauce. Garnish chicken strips with green onions and sesame seeds.
(Makes 2 Servings)

What I really enjoy about making hot dogs is that they are so easy to prepare for dinner. The Western Hot dogs are very easy to make and will take very little time. This recipe consists of grilled hot dogs that are topped with crispy bacon, French fried onions, and BBQ sauce. The buns are toasted and topped with melted slices of white American cheese. If you do not want to use white American you could replace it with any sort of cheese you would like—cheddar may be good option. For the hot dogs, I like to use the all-beef ones because I enjoy the flavor. The hot dogs can be grilled on an outdoor grill or you can use an indoor grill pan if you would prefer. Enjoy.

Ingredients:
1/3 cup BBQ sauce
4 all-beef hot dogs
8 slices white American cheese
¼ cup crispy cooked bacon (crumbled)
½ cup French fried onions
4 hot dog buns

Cooking Instructions:

Step 1: Lightly grease the grill grates of an outdoor grill. Heat the grill to medium-high heat. Place 2 tablespoons of the BBQ sauce into a small bowl and set aside. Open the hot dog buns and placed cut-side down onto the grill. Grill for 1-2 minutes or until toasted on the bottom. Turn the buns over and add 2 slices of cheese to each bun. Place the buns onto the warming rack of the grill or away from the heat. Keep warm. If you are cooking on the stove, you can place them onto a baking sheet and melt the cheese in the oven.
Step 2: Place the hot dogs onto the grill and brush hot dogs with reserved BBQ sauce. Grill turning and brushing the hot dogs with BBQ sauce occasionally for about 5-9 minutes or until heated through.
Step 3: Place the grilled hot dogs into each bun, top each with about 1 tablespoon of BBQ sauce, 1 tablespoon of bacon, and 2 tablespoons of French fried onions.
(Makes 4 Servings)

If you looking for a delicious Chinese recipe, beef with snow peas is perfect for you. This recipe combines sliced marinated steak and fresh snow peas to create a great tasting dish that makes an excellent choice for dinner. The beef is first marinated in the sauce mixture, which combines ingredients such as soy sauce, wine, and brown sugar. The steak is stir-fried in the pan with snow peas and then served. This dish gets its spice from crushed red pepper flakes. You can adjust the amount of the pepper flakes to your taste—if you do not like spicy food you may want to add less. This dish goes great served with white rice. Enjoy.

Ingredients:
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons rice wine
1 tablespoon brown sugar
½ teaspoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger root
1 tablespoon minced garlic
½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1lb round steak (cut into thin strips)
8 ounces fresh snow peas

Cooking Instructions:

Step 1: In a large bowl combine soy sauce, rice wine, brown sugar, and cornstarch. Add the sliced steak and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate. Allow the steak to marinade for at least 20 minutes.
Step 2: Heat vegetable oil in a wok or skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic, ginger, and crushed red pepper flakes and stir-fry for 30 seconds. Remove the steak from the marinade with a slotted spoon and reserve the marinade. Add the steak and stir-fry for 2 minutes or until evenly browned. Add the snow peas and stir-fry for an additional 3 minutes. Pour in the reserved marinade; bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and simmer until the sauce has become thick and smooth.
Step 3: Serve with white rice.
(Makes 4 Servings)

What I liked about this recipe for crispy chicken wraps is how tasty they turned out and how easy they were to prepare. This recipe uses already cooked chicken from a rotisserie chicken so there is not much work involved. I actually baked a few boneless skinless chicken breasts instead and that worked well. The chicken is mixed with ingredients such as celery, cilantro, mayonnaise, and sour cream. It is then placed into tortillas with cheddar cheese and browned in the frying pan on both sides. These crispy chicken wraps are great if you are looking for a quick and easy dinner. Enjoy. Adapted from Mel’s Kitchen Café.

Ingredients:
1/3 cup mayonnaise
¼ cup chopped cilantro
3 green onions (thinly sliced)
2 celery ribs (finely chopped)
2 tablespoons sour cream
2 teaspoons hot sauce
1 rotisserie chicken (skin discarded, meat shredded into bite-sized pieces (about 3 cups)
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
4 (12 inch) flour tortillas

Cooking Instructions:

Step 1: In a large bowl whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, and hot sauce. Stir in cilantro, green onions, and celery until well combined. Add the chicken and toss to combine. Sprinkle the cheddar cheese evenly over the flour tortillas, leaving about a ½ inch border around the edges. Spoon the chicken mixture evenly down the center of each tortilla. Fold the sides of the tortilla in, then roll from the other sides until you have a package formed (you can also just roll them up and just leave the ends open). Spray the rolled up tortillas all over with cooking spray.
Step 2: Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium heat. Place wraps into the skillet, two at a time, seam-side down. Cook until golden brown and crispy on each side turning once (about 2-3 minutes per side). Repeat with remaining tortillas.
It’s no secret that ham and Swiss on a sandwich is a near perfect combination and when it’s melted together in the oven, it’s even better. What really makes this recipe unique is the spread that goes on this sandwich. The spread gets most of its flavor from Dijon mustard and butter. These sandwiches are very easy to prepare—you assemble the sandwich, wrap it in aluminum foil and bake it in the oven and that’s it. You can bake the sandwiches without he aluminum foil but they are going to be toasted instead of soft. These hot ham and Swiss sandwiches make a quick dinner that is great for any night of the week. Enjoy.
This burger is very similar to the Rodeo Burger that Burger King used to have. The Rodeo Burger is topped with cheese, lettuce, fried onion rings, BBQ sauce and mayonnaise. This burger is perfect if you are looking for a great tasting burger recipe to cook on the grill. The burger patties themselves are good size as you can tell because 2lbs of burger is turned into four patties. For the cheese, you can use sliced American instead of cheddar if you would prefer. It is important if you want the burgers to have good flavor to season them with freshly ground salt and pepper. If you are looking for a great grilled burger recipe, give this one a try. Enjoy.

Ingredients:
2lbs ground beef
salt and pepper (to taste)
8 frozen onion rings
8 hamburger buns
4 slices cheddar cheese
½ cup BBQ sauce
mayonnaise
iceberg lettuce

Cooking Instructions:
Step 1: Heat oil in a deep fryer to 375 degrees. Add onion rings and fry in oil until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Set aside.
Step 2: Lightly grease the grill rates of an outdoor grill, heat the grill to medium-high heat. Form the beef into four equal patties. Make a depression in the center of each patty using your thumb. Season the patties on both sides with salt and pepper. Place hamburger patties onto the grill and cook turning once, until the internal temperature has reached 160 degrees. During the last few minutes of cooking top each patty with a slice of cheddar cheese. Once the cheese has melted removed the cooked hamburgers from the grill.
Step 3: While the hamburgers are cooking, split the hamburger buns and place them cut side down onto the grill. Cook until lightly toasted. To make the burgers- Place lettuce onto the top of the bottom half of each bun. Top with a hamburger patty, BBQ sauce, and 2 onion rings. Spread the mayonnaise onto the bottom of the top half of the bun. Place the top half of the bun onto the burger.
(Makes 4 Servings)

This recipe puts a delicious twist on your normal taco salad. The main difference between this salad and a normal taco salad is the flavor from the French dressing. The process to making this salad is very easy—ground beef is cooked in a pan and combined with taco seasoning, chili beans, and French dressing. The beef mixture is mixed together with various ingredients such as Doritos chips, lettuce, tomato, and cheese. It is important if you do not want the chips to be soggy to mix them in just right before serving the salad. This salad makes a great dinner or an excellent dish to bring to parties or events. Enjoy!
1 (16 ounce) bottle French dressing
1 head iceberg lettuce
1 (14.5 ounce) package Doritos (or tortilla chips)
2 cups shredded Colby-Jack cheese
1 cup chopped tomatoes
1 (2.25 ounce) can sliced black olives (drained)
4 tablespoons sour cream

Step 1: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef. Drain of any excess liquid. Stir in taco seasoning, chili beans, and French dressing. Fill the dressing bottle 2/3 full with water and add to the skillet. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
Step 2: Crush the Doritos and set aside. In a large bowl combine the meat mixture with lettuce, cheese, black olives, and tomatoes. Add sour cream and salsa. Stir in the crushed Doritos just before serving.
