Nice one.
Cheers from England. Im going out specially to get straky bacon. This will go well in the burger im about to make.
2 things though.
Cooking meet in a microwave seems like sacrilege to me
What is with americans and teaming up bacon and sweet things?
(I did however find out in arizona that crumbling bacon in american pancakes is heavenly)

I use the microwave most usually ... I start with four paper towels without tearing them. Fold so that there are three under and one to fold over. I use a bacon griddle ... a plate works about as well. This will handle five slices easily. I Microwave for four minutes and then rotate 1/4 turn. Then I finish out for a total of 1 minute per slice plus one minute. Works great and no sticking to towels.

Delicious! Thanks for the tip. I was going to just put bacon in a sauce I was making, to go with chicken. But instead, crisped up the bacon and put it on top. My husband was a big fan.

Looking forward to BLTs for dinner. I have never had much luck with the fry pan OR the microwave. This site reminded me that I used to use my Pampered Chef stoneware in the oven to cook bacon. I had forgotten. I think that is the way I will do it tonight. I think I might even try the really thick bacon we got from the neighbors pig.

Question... is this the best way if you want to crumble the bacon for recipes?
