- Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (205 degrees Celsius) and coat the bottom of the basket with aluminum foil. To allow air to circulate, remove as much aluminum foil from the sides as feasible.
- Measure and take ¼ cup of your popcorn kernels.
- Using your preferred cooking oil – or you can just stick to olive oil – lightly coat the popcorn kernels.
- Place the popcorn in the air fryer basket that has been lined. Make sure the kernels aren’t stacked on top of one another; a flat palette of single kernels is ideal.
- Then place the basket in your air fryer and cook for 5 minutes at 400°F. Cook until the kernels have stopped popping. Make sure you don’t open the basket too quickly, or stray kernels may fly out.
