Description
Ginger noodles with chicken is a great weeknight dinner – it’s flavorful, easy to make, and sure to please everyone.

- 9 oz. noodles
- 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
- 1 large boneless, skinless chicken breast
- 1 1/2 cups finely chopped green onions
- 2 tablespoons minced fresh ginger
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 3 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 teaspoons hot chili oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of rice wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
- Make the sauce. In a medium bowl combine green onions, ginger, cilantro, sesame oil, hot chili oil, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, honey, and ground black pepper. Mix well and set aside for at least 10 minutes to allow the flavors to develop.
- Fry the chicken. Cube the chicken breast and add the pieces to a hot skillet with oil. Fry for 4 minutes and then flip. Continue frying until the internal temperature has reached 165°F or 71°C.
- Cook noodles and combine. Cook soba noodles according to package directions. Drain. Stir in the sauce, sesame seeds, and chicken. Toss with the noodles until well combined.
Notes
You can use whatever noodles you would like. I have made this recipe with soba noodles or plain old spaghetti noodles.
