Instant Pot Jasmine Rice (4 Servings)

Ingredients

  • Two cups jasmine rice
  • Two cups water
  • One teaspoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt

 

 

Instructions

  1. Rinse the rice through a fine-mesh strainer, and add to the insert of the instant pot. Sprinkle the salt, add the water, stir and add in the oil as you do.
  2. Close the lid and seal the valve. Then, adjust the pot settings to Pressure Cook for four minutes.
  3. Once the timer dings, leave the instant pot for another ten minutes. Then, hit Cancel, and release the valve. Wait for the pressure pin to drop altogether.
  4. Open the lid carefully, so you don’t expose yourself to steam. Then, stir the rice and serve as you please.
