Air fryer hamburgers

The air fryer makes quick and low-mess hamburgers.

Ingredients

  • 2 hamburger patties, 6 oz. each
  • 2 hamburger buns
  • 2 slices of cheddar or provolone cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat. Heat the air fryer to 350°F or 170°C for 3 to 5 minutes. Optionally, season your patties with salt and pepper.
  2. Cook the patties. Place the patties in air fryer and cook for 5 minutes. Flip and cook for another 5 minutes.
  3. Check the temperature. The USDA safe temperature for ground beef is 160°F or 71°C. Medium doneness is 145°F or 63°C.
  4. Add cheese. Add cheese slices in the last minute of cooking.
