- One whole ham, 10 pounds, cook before eating
- 1 1/4 cups packed brown sugar
- Three tablespoons of pineapple juice
- Two tablespoons of Dijon mustard
- Whole cloves
Instructions
- Prep the oven to 325F, then put the ham on a roasting pan and cook uncovered for 18 to 20 minutes per pound. The ham should be done when the internal temperature reaches at least 160F
- Remove the ham around 30 minutes before doneness time and increase the oven to 425F. Slash a crisscross pattern on the fatty surface.
- Mix the brown sugar and mustard with the pineapple juice and brush the mixture over the slashed patterns. Then, place a clove on each intersection of the pattern.
- Return the oven to 325F and place the glazed ham in, then cook for the final 30 minutes or until doneness is reached.
