Oven-Baked Boneless Pork Chops (4 Servings)

Ingredients

Scale
  • Four boneless pork chops, one inch thick each
  • Two tablespoons olive oil
  • Two tablespoons brown sugar
  • One teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground

Instructions

  1. Set the oven to preheat at 375F. Then, arrange the boneless pork chops on a parchment-lined baking tray and drizzle with olive oil.
  2. Mix the spices and seasonings in a container, and generously rub the mix on the pork chops. Be sure to let it cover all the surfaces.
  3. Place the tray in the preheated oven and let the pork chops bake for about 20 minutes. At the 15 to 17 minute mark, check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer.
  4. When the internal temperature reads 140F, take the boneless pork chops out and let them sit on the counter for about five to 10 minutes. During this time, the carryover heat will cook the pork chops to the proper 145F.
