Pan-fried Hot Dogs (3 servings)

Ingredients

Scale
  • Three uncured hotdogs
  • One tablespoon of unsalted butter
  • Water
  • Three hotdog buns

Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized skillet, pour just enough water to cover the bottom. When the water begins to boil, carefully lay the hotdogs inside the skillet and cook them until the water evaporates. Roll them around to brown them so that they can cook evenly on all sides.
  2. Allow the butter to melt before adding the hotdogs and browning them more. Place the hotdogs on a platter and toast the bread in the remaining hotdog juice. Serve the hotdogs with your preferred toppings in the buns.
