How Long to Cook Thinly Sliced Chicken Breast(1)

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound of chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Go ahead and place the chicken breasts on a cutting board with the rounded side facing up.
  3. Then half the chicken breasts. One hand should be placed on top of the chicken breast. Carefully cut the chicken breast in half lengthwise with a sharp knife. Repeat.
  4. You can place two sheets of plastic wrap between the chicken breasts. Pound the chicken until it is very thin.
  5. Pound or roll the chicken with a kitchen mallet or rolling pin until it’s approximately ½ inch thick and evenly distributed. This allows for even baking.
  6. Make sure the baking pan is ready. Go on and add some oil with a pastry brush or the back of a spoon, and over the bottom of the pan.
  7. You can now place the chicken on the baking pan using tongs.
  8. Spread the remaining olive oil over the chicken with the pastry brush. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  9. Bake. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken breast reaches 165°F.
