Oven-Steamed Frozen Snow Crab Legs (2 Servings)

Ingredients

Scale
  • Two pounds snow crab legs, frozen (four clusters)
  • Four tablespoons butter, unsalted
  • ½ tablespoons lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • Two garlic cloves, minced

Instructions

  1. Place sheets of heavy-duty foil on the countertop and put one cluster of frozen snow crab legs in the center of each. Fold the foil ends in to seal at the center, and place the clusters on the baking sheet. Toss in a 450F preheated oven and cook for 25 minutes, by which the snow crab legs would be steaming and fragrant. Bring down and carefully open the foil, so the steam doesn’t hurt you.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan and add the garlic, salt, and pepper. Stir for 30 seconds and bring down from heat when the garlic is fragrant. Add the lemon juice and pour the mixture in dip bowls or ramekins. Serve along with the steamed crab legs.
