How to Cook Thin Boneless Pork Chops on the Stove...

Stovetop Boneless Pork Chops (4 Servings)

Ingredients

Scale
  • Four boneless pork chops, ¾ inch thick
  • Two tablespoons grapeseed oil
  • Black pepper, freshly ground
  • Kosher salt
  • A pinch of onion powder (per side)
  • A bit of garlic powder (per side)

Instructions

  1. Dry the thin pork chops with paper towels and set them aside. Then, season the meat on each side with salt and spices.
  2. Heat the skillet at medium-high until it’s scalding. Then, add the oil and let it shimmer.
  3. Carefully place the pork chops in the pan and cook for three minutes. You’ll notice a deep brown color with a golden hue. Flip the pork chops and let the other side cook for about the same time. Confirm the internal temperature with a probe thermometer as it cooks.
  4. When the pork chops reach internal doneness of 145F, bring them down and let them rest for three to five minutes. Then serve as you please.
