  • pound of chicken, the breasts should be cut in half, lengthwise
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of butter, melted
  • ½ teaspoon of fine sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon of ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Set the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and preheat it.
  2. Cut two large chicken breasts in half and remove the fat before preparing the chicken. Remove some of the moisture from the chicken breasts by blotting them dry. This will help the chicken breasts crisp up.
  3. On a baking sheet, arrange the chicken cutlets.
  4. Combine the olive oil and melted butter in a small bowl. Brush all sides of the chicken with a mixture of oil and butter.
  5. Season the chicken with a pinch of sea salt and pepper.
  6. Bake the thin chicken breasts in the oven for 12-13 minutes, making sure that the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 160°F. Halfway through the cooking time, flip the chicken.
  7. Allow 5 minutes for the chicken to rest before serving. Serve them with the juices from the pan.
