- 2lbs raw shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 4 wooden skewers (soaked in cold water)
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 dash Worcestershire sauce
- ½ cup butter
- Juice of 3 lemons
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté for a couple of minutes.
- Remove from heat. Add lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Allow the sauce to cool. Reserve half of the sauce in a bowl for brushing.
- Mix the renaming half of the sauce with the raw shrimp and marinate for 30 minutes. Thread the shrimp onto the wooden skewers.
- Heat an outdoor grill to medium-high heat. Place the shrimp skewers onto the grill and cook while brushing with the reserved marinade for 2-3 minutes per side or until the shrimp are pink.
