- 3 cups chopped tomatoes
- ½ cup chopped green bell pepper
- 1 cup onion (diced)
- ¼ cup minced fresh cilantro
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 4 teaspoons chopped fresh jalapeno pepper (with the seeds)
- ½ teaspoon ground cumin
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
- In a medium bowl add the tomatoes, green bell pepper, onion, cilantro, and jalapeno pepper. Add the lime juice, cumin, salt, and ground black pepper. Mix well. Serve immediately.

I tried this recipe and it was great! Except for the cilantro, it was the first time i ever tried fresh cilantro and i found out the hard way that it's not my cup of tea. Can i substitute it with anything next time i make this? Or should i leave it out alltogether? Thank you for all your lovely recipes :)
