Description
This crispy onion chicken is one of my favorite easy dinners, made with juicy baked chicken breasts coated in crunchy French fried onions and a tangy Dijon mustard layer for big flavor with minimal effort.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 3/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 2 cups French Fried Onions, crushed
Instructions
1. Preheat and prepare
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the Dijon mustard into a bowl or a shallow dish. In another bowl or shallow dish add the crushed French fried onions. Line a baking dish with aluminum foil and spray the foil with nonstick cooking spray. Dip each chicken breast first into the mustard and then roll in the French fried onions until well coated.
2. Bake
Place into the oven and bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until fully cooked and the internal temperature has reached 165°F (74°C).
