- Prepare the grill to heat up to 350F, and crate a two-zoon grilling area. Then, brush the rack with canola oil and add the brats on the low heat side.
- Cook the brats for 15 to 18 minutes, turning them frequently for even cooking. Then, stick the meat thermometer probe through the casing opening at the end to check the internal temperature.
- When the doneness reaches 150F to 155F, move the sausages to the direct heat zone. Let it roast for one or two minutes, and then toast the buns at the same time. Take not to turn the brats, so one side doesn’t char too much.
- Transfer the brats in the buns and top as desired. Then, serve hot.
