  1. You can start by filling a pot halfway with water and adding the chicken breasts. You set the temperature to be over medium heat, then bring it to a boil.
  2. Then reduce to low heat and continue to cook for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the chicken meat is no longer pink.
  3. Now place the chicken breasts in a bowl, set them aside to cool.
  4. Then now shred the meat with two forks
  5. In a small nonstick saucepan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Then saute and stir onion until transparent – this should be about 2 to 3 minutes.
  6. The next step is to add in the shredded chicken, cumin, chili powder, and tomato sauce. Then bring to a boil.
  7. Reduce heat to low and cook for 3 minutes, or until chicken is heated and flavors have combined.
