Buffalo Chicken Dip Recipe

buffalo_chicken_dip_1
This is another great recipe for buffalo chicken fans. Buffalo chicken dip combines the amazing taste of spicy Buffalo wings with a nice cream cheese oriented dip. I made this for the Super Bowl and it turned out fantastic. This recipe is very simple and only requires mixing and the oven basically does the rest of the work for you. The recipe calls for canned chicken, which is what I used, but I am not sure I can recommend it Fresh cooked chicken would taste much better I think, or even rotisserie chicken. For the hot sauce, you can adjust the amount of heat by the type of hot sauce you get. I personally prefer my dishes on the mild side. This is a great recipe for parties and is sure to get eaten up fast. Enjoy.

Thought I’d pass along a different version of this dip. Using your same ingredients substitute mozzarella cheese for the cheddar. Also, some people make this one with blue cheese dressing and blue cheese crumbles (instead of the ranch and cheddar). Many thanks for your beautiful website, I just love all of the great pictures and recipes.

jo – haha, no I have never been a chef :) . The recipes come from various sources, cookbooks, the internet, I do not claim the majority of them as my own.

This dip is also really easy to make for the crockpot (that way it stays HOT)! We bake chicken breast and then pulse it in the food processor. Melt the cream cheese in a pan and whisk the hot sauce so it doesn’t separate. Lighthouse Brand Bleu Cheese Dressing makes it really yummy too! Pour it all in the crockpot and let it get hot! We have some in the freezer right now just waiting for a rainy day! mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
