Pizza Casserole Recipe

pizza_casserole_1
Here is a very popular dish that many of you have probably tried- pizza casserole. This casserole is perfect for the winter season.  If you are not familiar with this dish, basically you have cooked noodles mixed with the ingredients of pizza. Next time I make this I think I will layer the cheese and pepperoni instead of just putting one layer on the top. For the noodles, you can really use whatever type of noodles you choose, even spaghetti noodle will work.  This also freezes well, for up to 3 months. This casserole makes a great dinner or is the perfect dish to bring to a party. Enjoy.

I Would Suggest That When You Add The Onions They Should Be Red Added Raw, And Should Cook When It Is Baked, Giving You A Better Pizza Fell With Partially Cooked Onions.

I Would Also Suggest (Since I Like Combo Pizzas), That Green Peppers, Mushrooms, Sausage And Black Olives Are Added.

One Other Idea Is To Use Pizza Sauce Since It Has A Lower Salt Content Than Pizza Sauce. And Adding More Peperoni Will Increase The The Salt In The Dish.

WOW! We love this here at our house, but we add several more items to the dish. We add diced green peppers, sliced mushrooms, italian sausage, and sometimes I use different shapes of pasta mixed together as well. Have u ever had the Cavatini at Pizza Hut? Well, this is very similar. Just adjust your sauce amount to how much extras you add in. FANTASTIC FOOD!!!!

This absolutely looks delicious. I would have never thought of doing pizza like this :) I guess it wouldn't hurt if I add some bacon as well, right?
