Pizza Casserole Recipe

Here is a very popular dish that many of you have probably tried- pizza casserole. This casserole is perfect for the winter season.  If you are not familiar with this dish, basically you have cooked noodles mixed with the ingredients of pizza. Next time I make this I think I will layer the cheese and pepperoni instead of just putting one layer on the top. For the noodles, you can really use whatever type of noodles you choose, even spaghetti noodle will work.  This also freezes well, for up to 3 months. This casserole makes a great dinner or is the perfect dish to bring to a party. Enjoy.

Although it seems obvious, this recipe doesn’t say at what point to add the pasta.

I am making this recipe as I write this and that is why I noticed.

No worries, the photos spell it out!

I was also a bit confused as to when to add the pasta then I realized it said it in step 2 – “Stir in pasta sauce and 3 cups of cheese”, meaning Pasta, Sauce and 3 Cups of Cheese. I tried this and my kids love it. The Sweet and Sour Chicken from this site use to be the best thing I ever made according to my kids now its this Pizza Casserole. Thanks a million. I will be trying other recipes.

This absolutely looks delicious. I would have never thought of doing pizza like this :) I guess it wouldn’t hurt if I add some bacon as well, right?

WOW! We love this here at our house, but we add several more items to the dish. We add diced green peppers, sliced mushrooms, italian sausage,
and sometimes I use different shapes of pasta mixed together as well. Have u ever had the Cavatini at Pizza Hut? Well, this is very similar.
Just adjust your sauce amount to how much extras you add in. FANTASTIC FOOD!!!!
