I found this Snickers cheesecake recipe on My Baking Addiction and decided to give it a try. It is truly delicious and rich, in an addictive kind of way.
Snickers cheesecake is what it sounds like: Cheesecake topped with chopped Snickers bars, peanuts, and caramel syrup. It’s pretty straightforward to make, but the filling has no sour cream — so it’s prone to cracking. My Baking Addiction recommends a water bath to minimize the craters, and provides a how-to video here. You can also see my cheesecake guide for more tips on avoiding a cracked top.

I opted to skip the water bath and my Snickers cheesecake cracked. It’s not the worst outcome, since the topping covers up any blemishes — and the cheesecake still tastes amazing even if it looks a little destroyed.
Besides the cracking issue, the recipe is well constructed and the directions are easy to follow.
