If you’re tired of the same old pasta sauce, ravioli with garlic basil oil is an easy change you’ll love. The garlic cooks in olive oil until it smells amazing, then you toss it with ravioli and fresh basil. A little parmesan and red pepper flakes make it extra tasty without any extra work. It’s one of those quick recipes that feels special but takes hardly any time at all.

Why this recipe works

  • Light sauce: Using garlic basil oil instead of tomato sauce creates a fresh flavor that highlights the ravioli filling without being overpowering.
  • Fresh ingredients: The basil and garlic add natural fragrance and depth to the dish, making it taste vibrant with very little effort.
  • Quick cooking: Ravioli cooks fast and the garlic oil comes together in minutes, so you can have dinner ready in less than half an hour.
  • Balanced flavors: Parmesan, basil, and a pinch of red pepper flakes work together to create a mix of savory, fresh, and slightly spicy notes.
  • Custom choice: Any kind of ravioli works for this recipe, giving you flexibility to use cheese, meat, or even vegetable-filled pasta.
