Instructions

  1. Turn the oven to heat to325F, and while it prepares, remove the plastic cover on the ham’s bone. Then, mix ¼ cup of the juice with two tablespoons of mustard in a bowl or cup. Brush the mixture generously over the ham. Set the ham in a roasting pan with the flat side down and cover it tightly with foil.
  2. Set the ham in the oven and roast as directed on the package. You can also cook it for 12 to 15 minutes per pound. By this parameter, our seven-pound ham will be ready in one hour and 45 minutes.
  3. Mix the remaining ingredients in a pan and boil, then reduce heat and simmer for two to three minutes. Afterward, let the glaze cool.
  4. When the ham reaches 15 minutes to doneness, take it out and increase the oven to 435F. Then, brush the glaze all over the meat and cook until it caramelizes over the ham’s surface. And once the recommended doneness temperature is reached, take the ham down for serving.
