Easy Diced Air Fryer Potatoes (4 Servings)

Ingredients

Scale

Instructions

  1. Toss the diced potatoes with olive oil in a large mixing dish. Salt, chili powder, pepper, and dry parsley to taste. Toss the potatoes around with a spoon or your hands to ensure that all the pieces are evenly coated. Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees and cook the potatoes for about 20 to 25 minutes.
  2. If the air fryer you’re using has a basket, remove the potatoes after 10 minutes of cooking, then shake them gently. This will prevent the potato pieces at the bottom of the air fryer basket from becoming undercooked. Return the basket to the air fryer and cook the potatoes for 10 to 15 minutes more.
  3. Crispy and completely cooked potatoes are ideal, so make sure your cooking achieves this. (The entire cooking time in the air fryer should be between 20 and 25 minutes.)
  4. Serve your air-fried potatoes warm, with whatever accompaniments of your choosing.

This recipe for air-fried potatoes yields crispy and delicious results, and it’s also quite simple and quick to prepare. Try it as a nice snack or side dish with any toppings of your choice, and you’ll love the satisfying feeling you’ll get.

Notes

  • This recipe required the use of a small air fryer. Because the potatoes tend not to cook uniformly, it’s not a good idea to put over 2 cups of chopped potatoes into this air fryer at once (though 4 to 5 cups should typically fit). The fewer potatoes you put into the air fryer, the more chance it gets to crisp up properly.
  • Carefully measure your oil. If you use too much oil, the potatoes will become soggy, and the oil will collect at the bottom of the air fryer’s basket. The ideal amount of ½ a teaspoon.
