Asiago stuffed meatballs are the kind of comfort food that instantly makes dinner feel special. Each meatball is a mix of beef and pork with garlic, parmesan, and parsley, but what really makes them stand out is the surprise center of melted asiago cheese. Baking them in the oven keeps things simple and less messy, while still giving you juicy meatballs that hold their shape beautifully. Pair them with your favorite marinara and pasta, and you’ve got a meal that feels hearty and homemade with very little effort.
Why this recipe works
- Cheesy center: The asiago tucked inside each meatball melts as they bake, giving you a gooey, savory bite every time.
- Beef and pork blend: Using two types of meat creates the right mix of flavor and tenderness, which makes the meatballs taste richer.
- Classic seasonings: Garlic, parmesan, and parsley add familiar Italian flavors that complement the asiago and sauce perfectly.
- Easy oven method: Baking the meatballs keeps cleanup simple while ensuring even cooking without the splatter of pan-frying.
- Adaptable cheese option: If asiago isn’t available, mozzarella can be swapped in while still giving you that melty, cheesy middle.

Serving suggestions
- Classic pairing: Serve the asiago stuffed meatballs with marinara and spaghetti for a meal that’s comforting and timeless.
- Sandwich style: Tuck a few meatballs into a toasted sub roll, add extra marinara, and top with melted provolone for a hearty meatball sub.
- Party appetizer: Make the meatballs slightly smaller, place them on toothpicks, and serve with a side of warm marinara for dipping.
- Meal prep option: Pair with rice, roasted vegetables, or zucchini noodles for an easy-to-pack lunch or dinner.
- Finishing touches: Garnish with fresh parsley, more parmesan, or even a drizzle of olive oil for added flavor and presentation.
