Dijon Grilled Pork Chops Recipe

Dijon Grilled Pork Chops
Pork chops with the flavor of Dijon mustard and apple juice are great on the grill. This recipe can be used as a grilling glaze, a marinade or both. The glaze consists of only 4 ingredients—Dijon mustard, apple cider, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar. The pork chops can be marinated in a sealable plastic bag or a bowl that can be covered. If you are using the sauce as a glaze only, just combine all of the ingredients in a bowl and brush the pork chops frequently on both sides while grilling. I like to serve these pork chops with a cold salad on the side. The cold salad pictured in this recipe is pepperoni pasta salad. Enjoy.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 6 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons apple juice
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 (8 ounces) bone-in pork chops

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl whisk together Dijon mustard, brown sugar, apple juice, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth. Pour 2/3 of the sauce into a sealable plastic bag. Cover and refrigerate the remaining 1/3 of the sauce. Add the pork chops to the plastic bag, coat with the marinade and seal the bag. Place into the refrigerator and marinate for 8 hours to overnight.
  2. Remove the pork chops from the bag and discard the marinade.
  3. Lightly grease the grates of an outdoor grill. Heat the grill to medium-high heat. Place the pork chops onto the grill, and cook while basting with the reserved marinade for 4-5 minutes per side until fully cooked (the internal temperature has reached 145 degrees F). Let the pork stand for 5 minutes before serving.
