Delicious Rice made with rice cooker (2-3 servings)

  1. Start by measuring out 2 cups of long-grain white rice, add water and thoroughly wash the rice until the water becomes white (this will remove excess starch)
  2. After washing, drain off the water and soak the rice in the water again, this time allow it to sit for 30 minutes, while you wait for it, prepare your vegetables
  3. Wash your vegetables, and using a potato peeler, peel off the outer layer of the carrot, proceed to dice the carrots, also repeat the same process for the potato, and simply chop the mushroom into small cubes.
  4. Add everything to a bowl, and also add some green peas, set them aside, and prepare the stove.
  5. To a hot pan, add 2 tablespoons of cooking oil, smash one clove of garlic and add that into the oil.
  6. Cut 1 sausage into small cubes, add it to the hot pan, and cook over medium heat for 2 minutes
  7. Add the chopped vegetables, and cook for another two minutes
  8. Add 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 tablespoon oyster sauce, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper. Stir everything to mix properly
  9. Add 2 cups of water, and remove the turn off the heat.
  10. Pour everything into the rice cooker pan, also strain off the water from your rice grains and also pour the rice grains into the rice cooker.
  11. Even out the rice in the rice cooker, smoothen the top with a spoon, and crack 2 eggs into the pot, do not whisk the eggs, just leave them to sit on top of the rice.
  12. Wipe the pan with a towel and place it inside the rice cooker with the lid shut. Set the rice cooker to cook, when it is cooked, it will go into keep warm mode.
  13. Transfer to serving plates and enjoy.
