Nothing beats a garlicky burger when you’re craving something hearty and flavorful, and this Steak N’ Shake garlic steakburger recipe delivers just that. These juicy beef patties are cooked until perfectly browned, then topped with melty cheese and layered onto buttery, toasted buns brushed with garlic butter. A sprinkle of garlic salt on the bun adds a final touch that ties it all together. Simple, satisfying, and packed with flavor, this burger is a fast favorite for garlic lovers.

Why this recipe works

  • Layers of garlic flavor: The garlic butter and garlic salt on the buns add rich, savory flavor to every bite.

  • Tender, cheesy center: Melting American cheese over freshly grilled patties creates a gooey contrast to the crispy bun.

  • Toasted bun perfection: Brushing the buns with garlic butter before toasting gives them a flavorful, golden finish.

  • No-fuss ingredients: This recipe uses everyday staples, so it’s easy to make even on a busy night.

Serving suggestions

  • Classic sides that work: French fries, onion rings, or potato wedges round out the meal and bring the diner feel home.

  • Something crisp: Pickle chips, coleslaw, or sliced cucumbers help balance the richness of the burger.

  • Best drinks to serve: Go with an ice-cold cola, root beer, or a crisp lager to match the bold flavors.

  • Great for any night: Perfect for Friday dinners, game-day bites, or backyard burger nights with the family.
