Cooking Beyond Burgers
You can make Beyond burgers like every other type around- on the grill. You can also prepare the patties on the stove in a skillet, roast them in the oven or dunk them in an air fryer.
On a Grill-Clean the rack of gunk and residue, and set to preheat at 400F. Then, coat the rack with olive oil add the Beyond burgers. Cook the patties on for three minutes, then flip and cook the other side simultaneously. You’ll want the Beyond burgers to reach a recommended internal temperature of 145F, with a deep brown.
In a Skillet-Place a skillet on medium-high heat and add some olive oil or butter. When the melted butter or oil is hot, add the Beyond burger patties and cook for three minutes. Then, flip the patties and cook the other side for another three minutes. Check that the internal temperature hits 165F before you serve. You’ll also want a deep browning on the outside for more crunchiness.
In an Oven-Set the oven to 400F and let it preheat. Then, place the Beyond burger patties on a baking tray or cookie sheet and cook for 12 to 15 minutes. If you prefer both sides to come out crispy, flip the patties at six or seven minutes into the cooking. And set them down when the internal temperature reaches 165F.
In an Air Fryer-Set to preheat to 370F- this waiting will take about five minutes. Then, line the basket with parchment and add the Beyond burgers. Cook in the air fryer for five minutes, flip and cook the other side for another four to five minutes. Take the patties down when the internal temperature indicates 165F.
