- 2 lbs of ground beef (90% lean)
- 1 large white onion (diced)
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons of garlic cloves (minced)
- 4 tablespoons of ketchup
- 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
- 4 tablespoons of fresh parsley (finely chopped)
- ¾ cup of panko breadcrumbs
- ½ cup of milk
- 2 teaspoons of Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon of smoked paprika
- 2 teaspoons of salt
- ½ teaspoon of black pepper
For the Meatloaf Sauce:
- 1 cup of ketchup
- 2 teaspoons of white vinegar
- 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons of garlic powder
- 1 ½ teaspoon of onion powder
- ½ teaspoon of salt (to taste)
- ½ teaspoon of pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Set aside a loaf pan sprayed with nonstick spray.
- Ground beef, onion, eggs, garlic, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, parsley, breadcrumbs, milk, Italian seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper should all be combined in a large mixing basin. Mix until everything is well blended.
- Place the meatloaf mixture in the loaf pan that has been prepared. Preheat the oven to 375°F and bake for 40 minutes.
- Begin to make the meatloaf sauce. Combine ketchup, white vinegar, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper in a small mixing bowl. Whisk until all of the ingredients are thoroughly blended. When the meatloaf has 15 minutes remaining to bake, brush it with the meatloaf glaze.
- Allow 5 minutes for the meatloaf to rest. Enjoy with fresh parsley on top.
