To defrost the chicken, leave it out on the oven baking tray and allow it to come to room temperature for a few minutes, or until the ice on its surface begins to thaw.

Use some oil – oil helps the breaded chicken to develop a nicer golden color and a shiny surface on the outside. Rest the chicken – giving your breaded chicken rest after cooking it will allow it to absorb and lock in its juices. It helps to cool off the breaded chicken, too, because it would be sizzling hot when it’s out of the oven. Rest your chicken on a plate for 2 to 3 minutes.

Season the chicken to give your breaded chicken a little more flavor, season liberally with salt and pepper. You can also drizzle some melted butter on top or add any other seasoning you’d like to add.

Make a sauce – if you don’t want to use the breaded chicken juices for sauce, or if the juices are not much to be utilized, you can always use ketchup, tartare sauce, or whatever kind of dipping sauce you have in your pantry at that time.
