  • Place the vegetables in the steamer tray after peeling and cutting them into small pieces.
  • If you’re cooking 10 ounces of corn, green beans, peas, broccoli, or mixed vegetables, fill the inner pot with ⅓ cup of water. The third cup of water is also required for eight ounces of chopped cauliflower or carrots and five ounces of spinach.
  • Apart from corn, which takes 40 minutes to cook, and spinach, which takes 30 to 40 minutes to prepare, all of the other vegetables listed above take 30 to 35 minutes to cook.
