Here is a very simple way to prepare breakfast nachos. These nachos are loaded with scrambles eggs, bacon and cheese. The ingredients are prepared individually and then layered in a skillet and placed into the oven and baked for a few minutes. You can add additional ingredients to this recipe if you choose. A good option may be to use some cooked chorizo sausage in place of the bacon. These are great to serve as an appetizer. Enjoy.

The Alabama smokehouse burger consists of a grilled seasoning pork patty, provolone cheese, bacon, Alabama white barbecue sauce, and iceberg lettuce. The Alabama white sauce really adds a nice flavor to this amazing burger. The BBQ sauce is a combination of mayonnaise, vinegar, lemon juice, sugar, and pepper. The ground pork is mixed with seasonings such as smoked paprika, chili powder and cayenne pepper for a little bit of heat. The original recipe called for smoked Gouda but I used sliced provolone instead. These burgers are best cooked on an outdoor grill but could be pan-fried if needed.

These mustard pork chops make for a quick, inexpensive and easy dinner. The pork chops are first dipped in spicy brown mustard and egg beaters then rolled in a seasoned breadcrumb mixture. Once the pork chops are breaded they are fried in a little bit of oil. What I like about this recipe is how easy it is to prepare—it will be on the table in no time. I served these pork chops with mac and cheese on the side. Enjoy.

Pork chops with the flavor of Dijon mustard and apple juice are great on the grill. This recipe can be used as a grilling glaze, a marinade or both. The glaze consists of only 4 ingredients—Dijon mustard, apple cider, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar. The pork chops can be marinated in a sealable plastic bag or a bowl that can be covered. If you are using the sauce as a glaze only, just combine all of the ingredients in a bowl and brush the pork chops frequently on both sides while grilling. I like to serve these pork chops with a cold salad on the side. The cold salad pictured in this recipe is pepperoni pasta salad. Enjoy.

These maple glazed pork chops are great on the grill. You can either use boneless or bone-in pork chops for this recipe. The glaze has an amazing flavor and is brushed on the chops while grilling. The glaze gets a lot of its flavor from maple syrup, honey, and spicy brown mustard. The pork chops are first seasoned with salt and pepper and then placed onto the grill and brushed with the glaze. I like to serve this recipe with a cold salad on the side. Enjoy.

The combination of chorizo and egg goes great in a burrito. These burritos are breakfast style and include homemade chorizo sausage, scrambled eggs, diced potatoes, cheese, cilantro, and salsa. I really enjoy the combination of the egg and salsa. The homemade chorizo combines pork with vinegar and various spices. If you want to save time you can buy pre-made chorizo from the store if you would prefer. If you want to use a different type of cheese, cheddar would be great in place of Monterey Jack. Enjoy.

Chinese roast pork goes great in lo mein. This dish consists of Chinese egg noodles mixed with a sauce, BBQ pork, mushrooms and green onions. If you would prefer you can use your own favorite recipe for the BBQ pork or even make your own in the oven using the recipe here. The sauce gets a lot of flavor from ingredients such as soy sauce and oyster sauce. Garlic and ginger also help to add flavor to this dish. You can use different types of pasta for this recipe—such as linguini if you cannot find Chinese egg noodles. I like to serve this recipe with egg rolls. Enjoy.

A great alternative to sausage gravy is bacon gravy. This gravy is great if you are looking to serve something different for breakfast or just have bacon on hand and not any sausage. The bacon is cooked in the pan until crispy and then the gravy is prepared using the bacon grease. The bacon grease adds a lot of flavor to this recipe. Bacon gravy is very easy to prepare and goes great served over biscuits. Chances are you already have the ingredients on hand to make this. I also like to serve it with eggs and hash browns. Enjoy.

This recipe for Dr. Pepper pulled pork is so easy to prepare because it is cooked in the slow cooker. Simply add onions to the bottom of the crockpot, add the pork roast, and pour in Dr. Pepper. Once the pork has finished cooking it is shredded and then mixed with your favorite BBQ sauce. For the BBQ sauce, you can use your favorite brand or even make your own. You can serve this pulled pork on sandwiches. A good choice for a topping is coleslaw but I tried something different and used sliced cheddar cheese and French fried onions instead. You can serve this recipe with French fries or chips if desired. Enjoy.

Asian BBQ roast pork makes for a great tasting dinner. This is the pork that you can find at Asian restaurants that is red in color. The red color comes from food coloring and is totally optional—I chose not to use it. Preparing this roast pork is very simple… pork tenderloin is marinated in the sauce and then baked in the oven. While the pork is baking it is brushed with the reserved marinade. The pork gets a lot of its flavor from hoisin sauce and soy sauce. Some good options for side-dishes would be fried rice, egg rolls, and lo mein. Enjoy.

There are several different ways to prepare pork chops on the grill but a delicious apple cider glaze is always a good option. These pork chops on bone-in but you can also use boneless if you would prefer. The pork chops are first rubbed with a spice mixture, placed onto the grill and brushed with an apple cider glaze. The apple cider glaze is nothing more than a simple combination of apple cider, maple syrup, Dijon mustard, crushed red pepper flakes, and salt. These pork chops are perfect for summer cookouts. This ham steak with red-eye gravy is yet another quick and easy dinner to prepare. The ham steak is cooked in the pan until browned and then the gravy is prepared. The gravy has a great taste and gets a lot of flavor from ingredients such as maple syrup and instant espresso. The gravy uses the grease from the cooked bacon but the bacon itself is not actually used in the recipe. You could serve the bacon strips on the side, or I used them in a lettuce salad as a side dish. This recipe also goes great served with some sort of a casserole as a side dish. Enjoy.

You can easily purchase chorizo sausage from the store but making your own is so much better. This recipe for homemade chorizo uses simple ingredients, many of which you probably already have on hand. Chorizo is ground pork that is mixed with various spices. In this recipe the ground pork is mixed in a bowl with the spices and cider vinegar. You can adjust the amount of heat in this recipe to your liking by adding more or less red pepper flakes. You can also add some cayenne pepper if you choose. Once the sausage has been prepared it can be put into casings, formed into patties or left in bulk to be cooked and used for tacos or burritos. Enjoy.

The ingredients of pizza go great stuffed into pasta shells. These pizza stuffed shells do require a little bit of work to prepare but they are worth it. The shells are stuffed with ingredients such as Italian sausage, ricotta cheese, parmesan cheese, garlic and onion. Once the shells are stuffed, they are covered in pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, and pepperoni. I really like the combination of Italian sausage and pepperoni, it really adds a nice flavor to this dish. You can add additional pizza toppings to this recipe as well, such as green pepper and sliced mushrooms. I like to serve these pizza stuffed shells with garlic bread. Enjoy.

If you are looking for a simple Asian pasta dish to prepare, these Beijing noodles are great. This recipe consists of only a few different ingredients. Most of the flavor comes from black bean sauce. Ground pork is stir-fried in the wok with some black bean sauce and then the potatoes are added into the mix. I like to use pre-cooked stir-fry noodles for this recipe, as no boiling is required. I just add them right into the sauce for a few minutes and stir. Of course, pre-cooked noodles can be hard to find, and you can use pretty much whatever type of pasta you want—rice noodles, chow mein noodles, spaghetti, etc. When the dish has finished cooking it is garnished with fresh cucumbers. I feel like the cucumbers really add a good amount of flavor to this dish. Enjoy.

You can cook the bratwurst on an outdoor grill, an indoor grill pan or even in a frying pan. You can also experiment with different types of cheese in this recipe. A good option instead of the Muenster might be to use shredded Gouda. I like to serve this grilled cheese with either French fries or pretzels.

One of my favorite soups to get at Chinese restaurants is Wonton soup. Wonton soup consists of wontons that are filled with a pork mixture and then cooked in either chicken broth of water. This recipe cooks the wontons in water because the dish can be served as leftovers. If the soup is allowed to sit the wontons will make the soup cloudy, thick and starchy. If you intend to serve the soup immediately, the wontons can be cooked right in the broth. The broth really only consists of chicken stock and sesame oil. You can add additional ingredients to the broth for a little more flavor such as soy sauce. Soy sauce will also give the broth a darker color, if that is what you prefer. Wonton soup is great to serve for lunch or with any Chinese dinner. Enjoy.

If you are looking for a delicious baked pork chops recipe this might be perfect for you. What is great about these brown sugar pork chops is how easy they are to prepare. The pork chops are rubbed with garlic and brown sugar, drizzled with butter, sprinkled with paprika and then are baked. Once the pork chops are almost finished in the oven, they are topped off with shredded Colby-jack cheese. The baking time only takes about 20-25 minutes so these pork chops can be ready in no time at all! I like to serve this dish with wild rice and/or a salad. Enjoy.

It’s time to fire up the grill again for these Jack Daniel’s grilled pork chops. The pork chops are marinated in a Jack Daniel’s sauce and then grilled to perfection. This recipe is perfect for summer cookouts. The marinade consists of ingredients such as Jack Daniel’s whiskey, molasses, chili pepper paste and soy sauce. If you have a problem finding the chili pepper paste, a well-known brand is Gourmet Gardens and it can be commonly found in the refrigerators in the product section of Wal-Mart. For this recipe you can either use bone-in pork chops or boneless pork chops, either will work fine. If you use boneless pork chops you will only need about 2lbs. I like to reserve a little bit of the marinade before adding the pork chops to use for basting while they are on the grill. These go great served with onion rings or a cold salad. Enjoy.

What I really enjoy about this Mexican pasta bake is how easy that it is to prepare. Most of the flavor in this recipe comes from green salsa. For the green salsa you can choose whichever brand that you prefer. The spiciness of the salsa you select is what is going to provide the heat in this recipe. If you are not a fan of spicy foods, I would recommend getting a mild salsa. The salsa is mixed with cooked pork sausage to give this dish even more flavor. The casserole is layered with noodles, the meat mixture and then Monterey jack cheese before being placed into the oven. After the casserole is done baking it is topped off with tomato wedges, sliced jalapeno peppers, and cilantro. The toppings really add a good amount of flavor to this recipe and the jalapenos provide a nice crunch. Enjoy.

If you are in need of an appetizer to go with your favorite Chinese dinner, this recipe for pork egg rolls is a good option. Preparing your own egg rolls does require a little bit of work but they are so much better than the frozen ones that you can get from the store. The egg rolls can be frozen so when you are ready to prepare your Chinese dinner, you can just pull them out of the freezer. When you go to cook them, you can cook them right from the frozen state, they should not be thawed first. These egg rolls are packed with delicious ingredients such as ground pork, carrot, cabbage and garlic. If you want to cut down on the prep time a little bit you can buy a bag of shredded cabbage and carrot and use that instead of chopping the head of cabbage and the carrots individually. Enjoy.

I really enjoy the flavor of ham served with honey mustard. This recipe takes black forest ham, Swiss cheese, a honey mustard sauce and adds these ingredients into a delicious grilled cheese sandwich. I like to prepare all different types of grilled cheeses for dinner because they are so easy to make. The sandwiches are best prepared on a griddle or in a skillet. I prefer a griddle because I can cook several of the sandwiches at once instead of in batches. This recipe uses sliced French bread but you can experiment with different types of bread if you would prefer. These honey mustard ham grilled cheese sandwiches are very easy to prepare and make a great lunch or dinner. Enjoy.

The addition of pulled pork and macaroni and cheese to a grilled cheese might just create one of the best sandwiches ever. Pulled pork on a grilled cheese is great by itself but adding homemade macaroni and cheese onto the sandwich makes it incredible. The flavor of this grilled cheese is going to depend a lot on what type of BBQ sauce you use. You can either use your own homemade recipe, my recipe, or your favorite store brand. The pulled pork is prepared in the slow cooker and the macaroni and cheese is prepared on the stovetop. This recipe does require a little bit of work preparing the ingredients but the end result is delicious. Unless you are making a lot of sandwiches, chances are you will probably have a bit of leftover pulled pork and macaroni and cheese. You might want to save it for another use or serve them on the side. If you are looking for a different type of grilled cheese sandwich, be sure to give this one a try. Enjoy.

One of my favorite appetizers to eat at Chinese restaurants is the pork fried wontons. These wontons are packed full of flavor because of ingredients such as soy sauce and sesame oil. The process to making this recipe is a little time consuming because you need to wrap all of the wontons individually—if you have someone to assist you, it should go a lot faster. Otherwise, this recipe is very easy to prepare. The ground pork is mixed with numerous ingredients and then placed into wontons wrappers. The wontons are then folded and fried in hot oil until fully cooked. If you do not want to use wonton wrappers, pot sticker wraps could work as well. There are a couple of different ways to fold these wontons. You can fold them into triangles like crab Rangoon’s or you can fold them into a bag shape. I like to serve these pork fried wontons with sweet and sour sauce. Enjoy.

Making carnitas in the slow cooker is a great idea for a Mexican dinner. If you are not familiar with carnitas, carnitas are basically a Mexican pulled pork that is put under the broiler until the edges are crispy. This dish gets a ton of flavor from the juices that is it cooked in. The pork roast is very seasoned and then lime juice, orange juice, beer and salsa are poured over the roast. Once the roast has finished cooked it is shredded and then placed onto a baking sheet with some of the sauce. Once the pork has finished cooking in the oven it is ready to serve. You can use whatever type of beer you like, I used a good locally brewed dark beer for this recipe. You can serve this with tacos, burritos or just eat it by itself… it is that good! Enjoy.

This is a copycat right for the provolone stuffed meatballs at Applebee’s restaurant. The meatballs are simmered in marinara sauce and then placed on top of alfredo noodles to serve. I thought the combination of both alfredo and marinara sauce kind of creates a flavor that is similar to a tomato cream sauce. The meatballs use 3 different types of meats—ground beef, ground pork and ground veal. If you would prefer you can use all ground beef. If you do not want to brown the meatballs in the pan you can brown them in the oven at 350 degrees F. and then finish them in the sauce. You could also fully cook them in the oven if you want. It should take about 25-30 minutes to bake them at 350 degrees F. Make sure that the internal temperature has reached 160 degrees F. before removing them from the oven. Serve with garlic bread. Enjoy.
