Who doesn’t like poutine? When you combine gravy with cheese curds and fries you have one of the most delicious combinations. Add shredded beef short ribs into the mix and you have taken things to the next level. This recipe is prepared in the slow cooker and does not require much work at all. The gravy is just a simple combination of beef broth, worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and thyme. For this poutine I used store bought french fries but you can make your own if you want as well. If you ever get a chance to go to Culver’s restaurant, you have the try the butter burger. These fresh burgers are delicious and juicy and topped with condiments to your liking. Here is a copycat recipe to create the Culver’s butterburger. It is called a butter burger not because the butter is actually in the beef patty but because the butter is spread onto the bun itself. You can top these burgers with whatever you like. I just did cheddar cheese and pickles. Enjoy.

When a friend gave me a can of San Marzano tomatoes I knew it was time to prepare a short rib ragu. I decided to use beef short ribs and let the slow cooker do all of the work for me. This ragu gets a lot of flavor from the short ribs, San Marazano tomatoes, wine, and thyme. Additonal flavor comes from onion, garlic and carrot. The type of pasta used in this recipe is pappardella but you could use other types such as linguini. I like to serve this dish with garlic bread and ricotta cheese.

You can make beef po boys with ease using the slow cooker. Simply just add a beef roast with some brown gravy, beef broth and creole seasoning and you have the meat for your sandwiches. The most work in this recipe is probably shredding the beef roast. These po boys include additional ingredients such as lettuce, tomato, pickles and mayonnaise. I like to serve these with French fries. Enjoy.
Using ground beef in taquitos is a so much quicker than making them with shredded beef and they still taste amazing. The ground beef is seasoned with a homemade taco seasoning and then spooned into corn tortillas along with Monterey jack cheese. These taquitos are baked in the oven. You will want to warm the corn tortillas up before trying to roll them otherwise they will break apart. You can use a microwave or a skillet to warm them. You can top these taquitos with any of your favorite taco ingredients such as lettuce, tomato, sour cream, and guacamole. Enjoy.

I like to serve this roast with mashed potatoes and use the sauce in the crockpot as a gravy. Enjoy.

This recipe for shrimp and parmesan steak is a lot like the one from Applebee’s. This surf and turf dish consists of grilled steak topped with shrimp and a parmesan cream sauce. The parmesan cream sauce is just a simple combination of heavy cream, parmesan cheese, and various seasonings. You can use several cuts of steak for this recipe but I used ribeye. Enjoy.
Steak and potato foil packs are great on the grill. What is nice about this recipe is that everything is prepared in the foil packets and you don’t need to do any additional cooking. The steak and potatoes are drizzled with a garlic butter sauce and then grilled in foil packets. The potatoes are then topped off with cheese, bacon and green onion. The trick here is to not overcook the steak. I would recommend cutting up the potatoes into smaller pieces so that they cook quickly. If you like your steak medium-rare you will want to cut the steak into larger pieces. Enjoy.
