        Street tacos recipe

          Street Tacos
These are steak tacos just like you can find from a food truck on the street. These tacos include carne asada steak, queso fresco cheese, onion and cilantro. A squeeze of fresh lime juice on each taco before serving really helps to create an amazing flavor. The steak is marinated in ingredients such as lime juice, orange juice, cilantro and garlic. A lot of the flavor in this rub comes from seasonings such as allspice, nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves but there are several spices that come together to make this rub delicious. The best part is, chances are you already have all or most of these spices on hand. The use of cayenne pepper helps to add a little bit of heat to this mixture and you can adjust it to your taste if you wish. This rub goes great on chicken, pork or shrimp. This ham steak with red-eye gravy is yet another quick and easy dinner to prepare. The ham steak is cooked in the pan until browned and then the gravy is prepared. The gravy has a great taste and gets a lot of flavor from ingredients such as maple syrup and instant espresso. The gravy uses the grease from the cooked bacon but the bacon itself is not actually used in the recipe. You could serve the bacon strips on the side, or I used them in a lettuce salad as a side dish. This recipe also goes great served with some sort of a casserole as a side dish. Enjoy.

Cheese ravioli is layered with a meat sauce and mozzarella and parmesan cheese in a casserole dish and then baked in the oven. The meat sauce is homemade and gets a lot of its flavor from Italian sausage. You can use your favorite brand of ravioli for this recipe. If you are looking for an easy meal, this casserole is easy to prepare and the only real work that is required is preparing the sauce. Serve with garlic bread. Enjoy.

The chili combines ground beef with various ingredients such as onion, tomato paste, ketchup and many more. The coleslaw just uses a basic cabbage and carrot mixture. If you want you can just buy a bag of shredded cabbage and carrots or chop the vegetables yourself. Of course, you can save time by purchasing pre-made coleslaw and canned chili for this recipe but I recommend making both fresh. The hot dogs can be boiled in water or grilled, whichever you would prefer. Serve with potato chips. Enjoy.

Preparing this recipe is simple—a ground beef mixture is prepared on the stovetop and mixed with cooked pasta shells and then placed into a casserole dish and topped off with shredded cheese. The ground beef mixtures get a lot of its flavor from chili powder and cumin. You can either use kidney beans or black beans for this recipe, I prefer black beans. You can also experiment with different types of cheeses on top—I like a Mexican cheese blend. This dish goes great served with sour cream and green onions on top. Enjoy.

This recipe does require a little bit of effort but it is well worth it. The homemade marinara sauce uses crushed tomatoes and gets a lot of its flavor from onion, garlic, oregano and basil. The meatballs use classic Italian ingredients such as parmesan cheese, Italian sausage, hamburger, and parsley. The meatballs are browned in the oven so there is no need to fry them in hot oil. After the meatballs are browned they are placed into the marinara sauce to simmer until fully cooked. This recipe will make about 8 to 10 servings, so you will be able to feed a large crowd or have leftovers. You can also freeze the meatballs and marinara for up to 1 month. You can serve the meatballs and sauce over pasta such as spaghetti or linguini. I also like to serve them with garlic bread. Enjoy.

Taco meat is layered in a baking dish with Frito chips, cheddar cheese soup and shredded Mexican cheese blend. Once the casserole has finished baking, it is topped off with lettuce and tomato. If you want to add some beans to this dish, you can mix refried beans or black beans right in with the ground beef mixture. You can serve this recipe with sour cream and salsa if you would like. For this Po’ Boy the type of meat is fried shrimp. The sandwich is loaded with fried shrimp, lettuce, tomato, pickles and a sauce. The shrimp is coated with an egg and flour mixture and then fried in the deep-fryer. The sauce, called Remoulade Sauce, gets a lot of its flavor from ingredients such as mayonnaise, horseradish, and pickle relish. If you do not want to make the sauce, simply using mayonnaise will work as well. The French bread is toasted in the oven to give this sandwich an additional crunch. This recipe goes great served with French fries. Enjoy.

This spaghetti is baked in the oven in a casserole dish. Noodles are topped with butter and a cream cheese mixture, spaghetti sauce, and cheese. For the spaghetti sauce, I have included a simple sauce recipe but you could also use your favorite homemade sauce or store bought sauce. You can substitute the ground beef with Italian sausage if you would prefer. You can also replace the cheddar cheese with mozzarella or an Italian cheese blend might be good on this casserole. I like to serve this recipe with garlic bread. Enjoy.

What I like about ham steak is that it is easy and quick to prepare. This recipe is very simple and will be finished in no time at all. The ham is fried in a skillet while being brushed with a Dijon and maple syrup glaze. The glaze is a combination of Dijon mustard, maple syrup, rice vinegar and chicken broth. All of the glaze ingredients are mixed in a bowl. I like to serve this ham steak with a salad and mashed potatoes and gravy. This glaze will also be great on chicken or pork chops. Enjoy.

This recipe for homemade chorizo uses simple ingredients, many of which you probably already have on hand. Chorizo is ground pork that is mixed with various spices. In this recipe the ground pork is mixed in a bowl with the spices and cider vinegar. You can adjust the amount of heat in this recipe to your liking by adding more or less red pepper flakes. You can also add some cayenne pepper if you choose. Once the sausage has been prepared it can be put into casings, formed into patties or left in bulk to be cooked and used for tacos or burritos. Enjoy.

Unfortunately, we do not have any Bubba Gump Shrimp Company Restaurants in the area, so I have never tried the actual dish. However, one thing is certain, this mac and cheese is delicious. The shrimp are seasoned with Cajun seasoning, cooked in the frying pan and then mixed right in with the mac and cheese. The mac and cheese uses two different types of cheeses—cheddar and Monterey jack. The shrimp mac and cheese mixture is placed into a baking dish, topped with seasoned breadcrumbs and then baked in the oven. This recipe makes a great dinner or side dish. Enjoy.

You can either use additional alfredo sauce to put on the bottom of the dish or spaghetti sauce. You can use your favorite alfredo sauce for this recipe. Stuffed the shells does take a little bit of work but the rest of the recipe is easy to prepare. I like to serve these stuffed shells with garlic bread. Enjoy.

The process to preparing this dip is very easy… all of the dip ingredients are mixed in a bowl and then placed into a baking dish, topped with cheese and then baked. The dip gets a lot of its flavor from cream cheese, lemon juice and crab. If you would prefer you can use imitation crab instead of the canned crab meat, which is what I did. This dip is also served with homemade won ton chips. The chips are simply won ton wrappers that are cut into triangles and get baked in the oven for a few minutes. Enjoy.

Chili cheese sliders are burgers that are topped off with cheddar cheese, bacon and chili! To save time this recipe uses canned chili and you can use chili with or without beans. If you want to save additional time, you can use precooked bacon. If you would prefer to use regular bacon, cooking crispy bacon isn’t difficult at all. If you have trouble finding slider buns, any small bun will work such as dollar rolls or dinner rolls. The burgers can either be cooked in the pan, on a griddle or on an outdoor grill. I personally prefer the griddle or outdoor grill because I have enough room to cook all of the burgers at once. I like to serve these sliders with French fries. Enjoy.
