Pot Roast Grilled Cheese
Pot roast grilled cheese is a great option if you are looking to use up leftoever meat from a pot roast. I must confess that I actually prepared a pot roast just for this grilled cheese sandwich! The juice from the dutch oven or slow cooker can be used as an au jus for dipping the grilled cheese sandwich in, it is truly amazing. This grilled cheese is topped with leftover pot roast meat, white cheddar cheese, and sautéed onion. I like to prepare my grilled cheese on a griddle because I can easily cook several of them at once. For the bread, I used French bread but a good whole grain bread would be an excellent choice as well. I like to serve this grilled cheese with French fries. Enjoy.

pulled pork hot dogs
Hot dogs piled with slow cooked pulled pork go great served for game day. These hot dogs are loaded with BBQ pulled pork, coleslaw and a dill pickle spear. The combination of flavors in this recipe really makes these hot dogs great. The pork is cooked in the slow cooker, shredded and the mixed with your favorite BBQ sauce. I like to cook the hot dogs on an indoor grill pan but an outdoor grill would be even better. If you want to save some time you can use premade coleslaw. You may have extra pulled pork and coleslaw and that’s okay, you can always eat it at another time. I like to serve these pulled pork hot dogs with French fries. Enjoy.

honey-chipotle chicken crispers
This a copycat recipe for the honey-chipotle chicken crispers at Chili’s restaurant. Chicken crispers are basically chicken strips that are tossed with a sweet and spicy sauce. The sauce uses ingredients such as ketchup and honey and chipotle powder to give these chicken strips amazing flavor. The chicken is first dipped in a batter and then rolled in a flour mixture and deep-fried until crispy. There are a lot of ingredients that go into this recipe but chances are you have many of them on hand. You can easily double these ingredients if you want to serve more people. Crispy Chicken Poppers Recipe

crispy chicken poppers
These crispy chicken poppers are a delicious snack or dinner that is easy to prepare. What is great about these chicken poppers is that they are baked in the oven and not fried. The poppers are crispy because they are rolled in cornflakes. A lot of the flavor in this recipe comes from the parmesan cheese and seasonings such as garlic, paprika and ground black pepper. This recipe gets even better with the parmesan-ranch dipping sauce. The sauce is prepared in a blender and combines ingredients such as sour cream, parmesan cheese, lemon, and chives. Enjoy.

western sliders
These western burger sliders are topped with cheddar cheese, bacon, homemade onions rings, and BBQ sauce. The burger patties can either be fried in the pan, on a griddle or grilled on an outdoor grill. The best part about this recipe is the homemade onion strings. The onion strings require a little bit of work but it is well worth the extra effort. Thinly sliced onions are dipped first into buttermilk and then rolled in a seasoned flour mixture. The breaded onions are then fried in hot oil until crispy. You can use your favorite BBQ sauce for this recipe. These little burgers make another great recipe for football season. Enjoy.

Chicken Artichoke Flatbread Recipe

  • by

chicken artichoke flatbread
This recipe is very similar to the chicken artichoke flatbread pizza at Outback Steakhouse. Flatbread is topped off with an artichoke spread, chicken, mozzarella cheese, and parmesan cheese and then baked in the oven. Once the pizza has finished baking it is then topped with additional fresh spinach and shredded parmesan cheese. The chicken can be grilled, baked or pan fried—whichever you would prefer. The artichoke spread is very similar to spinach and artichoke dip and consists of ingredients such as fresh spinach, canned artichokes and cream cheese. You can use a package of frozen spinach that is thawed instead of the fresh if you would prefer. If you are looking for a great tasting dinner or appetizer to serve for football season, this recipe is perfect for you. Enjoy.

TGI Fridays Grill Glaze

This grill glaze can be used on several different types of meat including steak, chicken and pork. You will want to brush this sauce onto whatever type of meat you prefer while it is on the grill. There is only 1 tablespoon of Jack Daniels in this recipe but it gets other amazing flavors from roasted garlic, pineapple and teriyaki sauce. To prepare this glaze, a bulb of garlic is roasted in the oven and then the pulp is mixed with various ingredients and simmered in the pan until the liquid has become thick. This is similar to a BBQ sauce, only much better! Enjoy.
