The hot dogs are boiled in water on the stove top. This recipe will serve about 5-6 people for the chili alone. Cudighi sausage is very popular where I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. This sausage can be found at most pizza or pasty shops or restaurants in the area. Cudighi is a spicy Italian sausage that is commonly made for use in sandwiches or on pizza. This sausage gets a lot of its flavor from seasoning such as cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice. For the best results, if you have a meat grinder you will want to grind the pork butt yourself but you could also have it done at the meat department or just buy already ground pork. This recipe will make a large quantity of Cudighi. Once you have prepared the sausage you can make it into links, patties or leave it in bulk—it goes great on sandwiches, pizza, and can be used in dishes such as spaghetti. The sandwich pictured above is topped with mozzarella cheese, onions, mushrooms and spaghetti sauce. Homemade cudighi tastes delicious and is a great addition to many dishes. Enjoy.

Here is a copycat recipe for the burger from In-N-Out Burger. We do not have In-N-Out Burger here so unfortunately I have never tried the real thing but this burger is delicious. The burger is topped with caramelized onions, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and a sauce. The best part about this recipe of course is the sauce. The sauce is a combination of mayonnaise, ketchup, pickle relish, and white vinegar. These few ingredients come together to make a delicious sauce that gives the burgers a unique flavor. The caramelized onions are a nice touch as well and are sautéed in vegetable oil for about 30 minutes. You can either make these a double burger with 2 patties each or form the meat into 4 large patties. These burgers can be cooked in the frying pan but I prefer a griddle. I like to use Jack Daniel’s whiskey in all different types of recipes, including meatballs. These meatballs are flavored with Chinese ingredients such as soy sauce and green onion. For the meat I used ground pork but you could use ground beef as well. The meatballs consist of typical ingredients such as breadcrumbs, egg, and parmesan cheese. I like to add fresh garlic and green onion right into the meat mixture for even more flavor. Once the meatballs are rolled they are placed into the oven and baked. The sauce is boiled on the stove top and gets a lot of its flavor from Jack Daniels and soy sauce. You can double the sauce ingredients if you want a little more sauce for the noodles.
